Marginalised Writers’ Day in Aberystwyth

13 July 2024 | Inclusive Journalism Cymru

Calling writers in Wales! On Saturday 13th July  Trafod/Visualisation Center in Aberystwyth are hosting a writers’ forum aimed at those marginalised by factors including race, sexual or gender identity, income, and disability. Both published and unpublished writers are welcome. Running from 10am – 8pm, there will be panel interviews, talks, and an open mic. Free refreshments will be provided. The goal is to provide a platform for writers to build confidence, connections, and learn more about the publishing industry in Wales.

Our members Cheryl Morgan, Heledd Williams and Kaja Brown will be there – virtually and in-person – representing Inclusive Journalism Cymru and discussing issues close to their hearts, including trans rights, social class and disability in publishing.
