Book our free masterclass on newsletters

25 January 2024 | Inclusive Journalism Cymru

Want to get into newsletters? Here’s your chance to learn more

Newsletters are one of the fastest growing areas of the media industry. They give individual journalists a way to build a community and monetise their work, whilst also helping publishers build deeper and more personal relationships with readers.

Join Inclusive Journalism Cymru for this Masterclass on newsletters, with three incredible special guests who are leading the way in developing products that connect with their audiences and build loyal followings: Joshi Herrmann (Mill Media), Isabelle Roughol (The Lede) and Jamie Wareham (QueerAF).

At this free event, you’ll learn about how to identify your audience, set up a newsletter, create engaging content and build a community.

About our special guests

Joshi Herrmann is a journalist based in the North of England. He set up the Manchester Mill, Birmingham Dispatch, Sheffield Tribune and Liverpool Post.

She writes The Lede, a newsletter about improving management and workplace culture in the news industry, and founded Borderline, an independent podcast about lives lived across borders.

Jamie Wareham is the founder of QueerAF, an independent LGBTQIA+ publisher supporting queer creatives to build a media career. He is a journalist, award-winning digital media producer and Forbes Under 30 recipient.
